Have FBI agitators infiltrated our labor unions like the FBI did during black rights movement, feminist movement, and anti-Vietnam protests to sow the seeds of division between the factions and Malcolm X and Elijah Muhammed—to control and disrupt our labor movements from the inside? We don’t know at this time, and is anyone in the media or government looking into this? The war on labor and the effort to drag us back to serf wages is coming from within the White House with some labor union and MAGA members. Corporations are padding their accounts and of one greedy man instead of its workers. The war on labor is and will be fought between corporation titans and labor, and at this time the corporations will use the White House, courts and the FBI and even those at Homeland Security and I.C.E. against us. Every worker needs a union to protect their lives, health and work. In this case, these support workers at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta. They have no paid sick leave, a poor pension, and low wages that start at $12.22 for landscapers to a high of $22.57 for plumbers and pipefitters. These workers make the CDC run and yet they have to enter labs without being provided personal protective gear and equipment and have to wash their own clothes at home risking a possible contamination of their families. Even fire companies have stainless steel washing machines at their stations to wash their turnouts and clothes. The CDC workers’ employment was privatized to Four Seasons Environmental company and their union is Operating Engineers Local 926. The company has been trying to overturn the election to unionize and refuses to negotiate in defiance of the National Labor Relations Board’s (NLRB) rulings. Clashes between capitalists and labor here in the U.S. and worldwide and intensification of the class struggle will cause the ruling class to parliamentary start turning away from democracy and go to fascism to hold onto power to protect the very rich. Unions need to study labor history and reboot using the lessons learned by what has worked and not worked. Labor must only support people who are trusted-worker friendly and be very careful not to make mistakes, such as some labor leaders did when they supported Ronald Reagan. The records of some of our presidents: Abraham Lincoln valued organized labor; Grover Cleveland sent the Army to suppress labor movements; Harry Truman challenged the right to strike on the coal and steel mines, and railways; Lyndon Johnson acted on issues of the work-place safety. Reagan, an FBI rat known as #T-10, destroyed the air traffic controllers union, PATCO. This union and many others have never fully recovered at this time. Will the Patriot Act or parts of it be used against labor or most any worker movement, such as the quest for a minimum wage increase, Occupy or the women’s movement? The answer will probably be yes for if you look back at history you will see government used the Alien and Sedition Laws of 1798, which jeopardized the freedom of speech, press and assembly, and was a long step toward Totalitarianism. And then there was U.S. Attorney General A. Mitchell Palmer, appointed by Woodrow Wilson, who recruited J. Edgar Hoover as his special assistant in 1917 to enforce the Espionage Act of 1917, especially the Sedition Act of 1918 engaged in the Palmer Raids. These Acts were used to launch a campaign against the so-called radicals, such as the IWW (Wobblies) labor movement, which was at the time the most feared labor group. There are rumors already that there are paid Blackwater-type people inserted into the 99% organization. These plants are to turn a peaceful revolution into a violent revolution, which will give the 1% oligarchies the gift of using the cops to break the demonstrations and put protesters in jail on trumpeted up charges. It is an old tactic that has been used ever since proletarian wage slaves have worked to better themselves. There is no doubt that the 99% and unions will be infiltrated with agitators and people who will try to disrupt the movement, but also will be imbedded with FBI, law enforcement and private agitators. The 99% should counter this by not allowing anyone to wear a face mask, such as Guy Fawkes’ Anonymous mask, to hide their faces or identifications.
