All union people should fully understand what an autocracy is and what it will do to their lives and families. It will be the end to Democracy as we know it today.
We will end up with despot who thinks he’s a king who will partner up with the oligarchs to get more money and power. They believe that rules are for suckers and chumps. They have bought the highest court in the land and the person who wants to be the king is Trump.
He does not just want to be an oligarch, but he wants to rule them. The oligarchs want to rule the people and what better way than to build company towns where they own the houses, stores, schools, churches and the jobs. This is the ultimate control of peoples lives.
Some of these people, who harbor these fantasies, are Jan Sramek, Micheal Moritz, Reid Hoffman, Patrick and John Collison, Daniel Gross, Marc Andreessen, Laurene Powell Jobs (Jobs’ widow), Nat Freeman are the Silicon Valley heavies who have bought 55,000 acres of farm land for $800 million in Solano County to build their utopian city under their form their own governance .
Elon Musk essentially bought a town in Brownfield, Texas, where he’s allowed to build and experiment without interference.
The Bethel church in Redding, California, now has control of the Redding City Council and are trying for the county government. They own a disproportionate number of businesses within the city. It is also moving into Dunsmuir and Mt. Shasta City. The church is against unions so before you vote, check the backgrounds of these candidates: it’s not what they say, it’s what they do.
The war against the working class never ends, it just changes the aggressors. The corporations and billionaires want the 99 percenters working for slave wages and no Social Security, no healthcare and no unions, which is the working person’s only Army. The unions can fight against the GOP’s Army of uninformed self-hating MAGA people to fight against their own self-interests to keep others from getting ahead. The GOP does not care about those who’s lives they destroy so long as their goals are achieved—the GOP will never invite these rubes to their homes or their country clubs. The GOP, bosses and the rich have nothing in common with the working class, which is you and me. Vote for your families and not the GOP and corporate rich.
And when voting, regardless of which party, look at who is giving money to these candidates, what organizations or associations do they belong to. If appropriate, ask them why would they be accepting money from out of state contributors? What does this donor expect in return?
In 2012 more than a quarter of all political contributions came from just 30,000 people who represented the 1 percent of the 1 percent, 90 percent who spent the most won. Today, we are an experiment in either a democracy, which started in 1787 or an oligarchy, which is winning. The nonunion people, like Trump and Musk, have most all the tools in their pockets to destroy our unions. They have money, they have the courts, they have law enforcement, they have the media, and 50 percent of workers that don’t know this don’t know the history of the working class people. This is the perfect storm to lose all the gains workers have made whether they’re union or not, even our Social Security and Medicare, and the Affordable Care Act. So, now we will have to go way back to the late 1920s and ‘30s and dig up the old labor party books. One book, written in 1964, has the information, The Rebel Voices, an IWW Anthology by Joyce L.
