Why Immigration is Good

GOP greed will be good for unions, immigration and the farmers. Farmers will get cheap labor, unions will have employees to organize and the GOP will be trying to win their votes. With more legal slaves working and paying taxes, instead of living in the underground economy, the government will receive this money. This added money help will also support the Social Security fund. The GOP will support and pass immigration reform for its own gain: the political gain and the cheap labor that will pad the pocket books. Of course the jobs will be low wage so the workers must bring these wages to a living wage standard to ensure they can stay off government assistance, like so many Walmart workers have had to use. The GOP is looking for cheap labor to exploit and would like the tax payers to subsidize their workers. We must not let them do this and this is where the unions can make the difference in helping with knowledge of labor laws and can watch and ensure workers are not exploited.

Improving Economy Good for Unions

The fiscal shape of California and the Nation is on the upward move. It was done with a touch of government austerity and new tax revenues, which helped to even the playing field between the 99% and the 1%. And all are winning, such as the Stock Market, which is at an all-time high, and then there’s the Dow Jones, which is at 13.471.22. With gas prices predicted to fall in 2013, this will mean more cash to spend, which will mean more jobs. Labor should be putting its organizers on the streets instead of sitting back and licking its wounds over recent losses and setbacks. Now is the time o show the wage slaves what unions can do and have done for the 99%; and unions need to organize the unorganized workers. There are plenty of them out there. They need to stop trying to build its membership by raiding other unions. That’s a lazy way to get the job done and if th

From the Beginning

I find that it is not quite as painful if I understand how and why the 1% do and how they do it to us 99%, such as how do the 1% control the 99% of the wage slaves in a country that is a democracy. The people elect their leaders, which then always supports the wishes of the 1%. This goes back to the founding of this country. Well, the 1% has had control since the beginning of our country. Our Constitution was originally written for the 1%, the rich white men, and little rights were given to the 99%. Rights that included the 99% were written only after the 99% fought back and got the Bill of Rights. Then the 1% started to devise ways to weaken the 99%, which was a two party system and for the GOP money people, and one for the leftovers, the Democrats. But when the leftovers were getting too strong the 1% figured out how to split the leftovers into smaller groups by divisive issues, such as race, gender, religion, abortion, sexual orientation and so on. Always something new like gu
